Aim & Objectives
The School of Distance Education has always been a unique platform for higher education to an array of learners of different age-groups from across Kerala and even from other states. The Career Planning and Guidance Cell seeks to offer support and guidance to interested students in planning careers.
The SDE has a system by which the students have direct access to the coordinators of various subjects via mobile phones and other electronic means, which is used to a good extent by them to clear up their doubts about planning careers.
Beyond this, the Cell and the teacher in charge are available with individual and general support. The following are the chief areas in which structured help is attempted by the Cell periodically.
Orientation sessions for students planning to appear for job tests and interviews - particularly bank tests and tests conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission for different jobs.

Orientation sessions for students aspiring to pursue higher studies after their UG Programmes.

Orientation sessions for aspirants to appear for the UGC-NET exam after their PG Programmes.

Orientation Sessions for students aspiring to attempt the Civil Services Examinations.

Display in notice boards of fliers and brochures related to jobs and courses.
