A Student's Grievance Redressal cell has been functioning in the school of distance education, University of Kerala from its very inception.The complaints/problems of the student community were dealt with in a timely manner.
Aim
To address the grievances of the students of SDE.
To find ways for the speedy disposal of grievances
To inform the students the solutions to the grievances addressed by them
Objectives
To find solutions for the problems related to admission,violation of reservation,gender based discrimination,examination related matters,sexual harassment etc:
To solve the problems of the students through the service of University level Nodal Officer.
Functioning
Dr.Shaji A,Assistant Professor of History,SDE was nominated as the Nodal officer,UGC online Students' Grievance Redressal Portal.Several complaints related to distance education along with other complaints of general nature has been receiving in this portal and solutions were uploaded in the portal.
